Cookie policy

A clear explanation of the browser storage GetMyFiles uses.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

What we use now

GetMyFiles currently uses only technologies needed to provide the service, keep accounts signed in, protect requests, remember essential interface state and support installed-app features. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics. Because no non-essential cookies are currently enabled, we do not show a consent banner.

Necessary technologies

Authentication and session storage keep signed-in users connected to their account. Security storage helps protect requests and prevent misuse. Local browser storage may also remember functional choices and support installation or optional push notifications. These technologies are necessary or requested by you and cannot always be disabled without affecting the service.

Functional preferences

We may store choices that make the service work as you expect, such as interface state or notification settings. They are not used to build an advertising profile.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking necessary storage may sign you out or stop account, transfer, cloud, installation or notification features from working correctly.

Analytics and marketing

If we later enable non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this policy and, where UK law requires it, ask for consent before using them. We may then provide cookie preference controls. We do not claim that such controls exist today.
