Why do my files show as “Photo 1”, “Document 2”?
getmyfiles never stores or displays original filenames. Every file is labelled by its type and position, and downloads are named photo-1.jpg, document-2.pdf, and so on.
What file types can I send?
Common images (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP…), video (MP4, MOV, WebM…), audio, PDFs, Office and Apple iWork documents, archives, and design files. Executables are not accepted.
How big can a transfer be?
Up to 2 GB in total per transfer, with a maximum of 200 files.
My upload failed halfway. What now?
Each file shows its own retry button. Retrying re-uploads only that file; the rest of the transfer is kept.
Can I extend a link?
Not yet. Links expire 7 days after creation. Create a new transfer if you need more time.
